Eggless not fried fried rice 25.03 Workshop side dish

25.03.2023 workshop’s side dish!

This is the big portion of eggless not fried fried rice for 6-7servings.

Also we used an Instant pot(A pressure cooker )to cook this rice.


If you are using a normal pot ,instead of the pressure cooker Soak grains in water for 30mins before rinsing. Then cook it for 20-25mins with double the amount of water of the weight of ★ .

If you are cooking for just one or two people, just reduce all ingredients by half.


This is a pressure cooking recipe. Rinse all of ★ before cooking. Add water and the remeining ingredients. Pressure cook it for about 20mins ( Just by pressing “rice” button) .




★100 g millet ★500 g Jasmine rice ★60 g soy granules

660 ml water 1 chopped carrot 1/2 cup chopped onion 1tbsp Vegetable broth powder (d.m.bio or alnatura) 10ml roasted sesame oil 1 tbsp chopped ginger


(Optional toppings ) Chopped chives or onions 2tbsp roasted sesame seeds Scrambled tofu



Fry some tofu in a frying pan with the ingredients below for 2-3 minutes. 200g tofu (extra firm/Edeka’s bio natur tofu ) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp chinese 13 spice A pinch of black pepper and black salt 1-2tsp olive oil


If you don’t want to fry them in a pan ,you could put that in oven too.

Just press 250g (Medium firm tofu instead of firm tofu) in between

baking sheet to mush them.

Then season it.

Bake it in oven for 15mins at 220℃




When the rice is cooked, fluff the cooked rice with using a fork

,add some scrumbled tofu and mix it.


Wet the bowl with water, fill it with this rice and mould it.
