Pizza day!

I have offered this vegan homemade pizza workshop some month ago.

But I also bake this privately quite often.

So here I have some pictures of the cooking process for you.

This pizza is filling and hearty.

For me, it is enough for two meals.

If you don't need so much, make half the quantity.

First we are going to kneed the dough. Here we go !

Slowly add some water in this mixture.

Then slowly mix with a spatula.Do not spill...!

When this happens, start kneading by hand.

If you need to add more water, add about 1 teaspoon at a time.

Knead the dough by hand for 5 minutes.

Shape the dough into a ball and drizzle with olive oil to prevent drying out.

While the dough is fermenting, prepare the topping.

Today, I got some olives, corn, onion and tofu. I also added basil leaves, chili and red bell peppers.

Once the dough is ready , roll it out and bake it in the oven for 5 minutes without any sauce or toppings!

Now you need to grab a hand blender....

Time to create a vegan cheese sauce.

1/4 cup (60ml) soy milk(Alnatura)or 1/4 cup (60ml) soy yogurt (Non sweet)

30ml olive oil

30ml apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)

3tbsp sunflower seeds (or cashew nuts)

1tbsp brewer's yeast

1tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

A pinch of turmeric

Blend all the ingredients for approx. 30 seconds.

This vegan cheese should be blended just before baking pizza.

Otherwise, it will harden quickly.

Ok, your pizza crust is ready by now.

Take the5mins baked pizza crust out of the oven.

Spread the tomato sauce and other toppings quickly. If this process is done too slowly, the pizza will not be crispy sadly!

Bake the pizza at high temperature for 12 minutes until perfectly crispy.

(my oven is max 250℃)

The fresh basil leaves and the EV olive oil can be topped when you serve it.

Enjoy!
