How to build a simple charcuterie board

Updated: Jan 1

A charcuterie board is an appetizer typically served on a wooden board or stone slab, either eaten straight from the board itself or portioned onto flatware.

It features a selection of preserved foods, traditionally cured meats , as well as cheeses and crackers or bread.

And it's really easy to veganize it.

I mean, you don't have to cook anything.

Try this easiest yet most presentable party foods !

This is the formula.

A large chopping board

3-4 bowls

3 fruits (grapes, apple, orange etc )

Beans dish (roasted beans/hummus/edamame etc)

Pickles (olives, artichokes, peppers etc)

Fresh vegges( bell pepper,cucumbers)

Vegan crackers (Dr. Kargs Tomate Kräuter Vollkorn Knäckebrot)

Vegan cheese (this one is Come on Bert von Bedda )

Fresh herbs or nuts or fried fruits ( Rosemary ,mints etc)

Roasted chickpeas

400ml canned chick peas,1tbsp oil,1tbsp brewer's yeast

1tsp garlic, paprika, cumin powder

Pomegranate salsa

Pomegranate, onion, pickled pepper, cucumber, parsley, lime juice,

black pepper, salt and lemon oil

Tomato salad topping for Bruschetta

Diced tomatoes, olive & olive oil, fresh mints, basil, black pepper, garlic, salt

First place the bowls on the board, then place the colorful vegges and fruit slices.

Fill in the gaps with baguettes or crackers.

Add herbs or flowers at the end to balance the overall arrangement.
