Matcha Tiramisu

ree

Yes!

You can make delicious tea based tiramisu with the same method as my tiramisu.

I usually buy them in Japan at the airport.

But you can buy good quality matcha in Germany for sure.

Even if you don't want to invest on matcha tea

They are sometimes really good. (Not always tho)

Ingredients

60ml small glass x 3

1.5 pieces spelt zwieback

Raw cane sugar 10g (optional)

45ml hot water for making matcha tea (80℃)

1tsp Kyoto Uji matcha tea powder

(for the topping)

0.5tsp Kyoto Uji matcha tea powder

STEP 1

Whisk a bowl of matcha tea.

Add some sugar into the soy yogurt if desired.

Mix it well until it dissolved.

If you don't have a bamboo whisk for the tea , you can also blend it

with a hand blender in a tall cup.

STEP 2

Let the zwieback soak in the tea until they get softened.

1,5 pieces of zwieback absorbs about 50g of liquid.

STEP 3

Fill the bottom of the glass with 2 tbsp of the yogurt first.

Scoop out the matcha tea soaked zwieback with a tea spoon.

Placed it on top of the yogurt layer.

STEP 4

Fill the containers to the top with some more soy yoghurt.

Wrap them.

Keep them in the fridge.

STEP 5

Sprinkle some extra matcha powder just before serving .
