Skewered tofu with Melasse

Ingredients for 2-3 servings (6 skewers )
6 bamboo skewers (d.m)
About 200g tofu ,diced (REWE)
1/3 red onion
1 small red bell pepper
1 small yellow or green bell pepper
100g zucchini
6 cherry tomatoes
1tsp roasted sesame oil
Pepper to taste
Ingredients for sauce
(just mix all the ingredients in a small bowl)
1tsp chili flakes
1tsp mixed fresh ginger and garlic (chopped)
1tbsp light soy sauce
1tbsp dark soy sauce
1tbsp roasted sesame oil
1tbsp Melasse (or brown sugar of your choice) =30g

Step 1
Preheat oven for 200℃ if you use an oven
Chop all the ingredients into a bite size pieces.
Skewer everything.
Brush sesame oil on each pieces.




Step 2
You could fry them in a pan, but it's much safer and less messy to bake them in the oven.
Bake the skewered ingredients in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until the tofu turns golden. Sprinkle some pepper .


Step 3
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl.

Step 4
Remove skewers from the oven.
Serve them with sauce over rice.
For example serve with some tomato oregano pilaf :)
