5 minutes couscous



When you don't have any time for cooking rice or boiling spaghetti.

This 5minutes couscous is going to be a game changer.


Ingredients for 2 side dish servings

★1/2 cup fine couscous

★1tsp EV olive oil

1/2 cup boiling water

A pinch of salt


Step1

Mix 1/2 cup of dry couscous with some olive oil in a bowl.



Step2

Add a pinch of salt in 1/2 cup of boiling water.

Then pour into the bowl of couscous.

Mix once with a spoon.



Step3

Place a lid and let it steam for 5 minutes.


Step4

Remove the lid.

Fluff couscous with a spoon.





And voilà!

Serve it with some stir fried dish, stew, curry or any other sauce of your choice.


Usually I make some quick couscous as the base of my moroccan couscous.

(Moroccan couscous full meal is not a quick recipe but this food is THE bomb.)

Couscous is also a great option for meal prepping as it can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for several days.
