Apple Black Berry Crumble

Ingredients for small 6 portions .
Enough for a 20cm x 28cm tray
For the fruits sauce
★2 apples (Elster= total 350g)
★Frozen black berries (=300g)
★1 pack of vanilla sugar 8g
★1tsp cinnamon powder
★30ml water
Extra 30ml water to mix with 1tbsp cornstarch
For the topping
200g spelt flour
60g raw cane sugar
60g almond flour
70g apple sauce
👉I have tried this recipe with using EV olive oil.
But then it really tasted like olives.
So I don't really recommend using a good olive oil for this recipe.
Preparation
Preheat oven for 180 ℃.
Chop apples and remove the seeds.
You don't have to thaw frozen berries.

Step1
Add all the★ ingredients in a sauce pan.
Stir the fruits time to time.
Let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Step1
Pour in starchy water to thicken the fruit sauce.


Step2
Mix all the ingredients for the crumble in a bowl.

Step 3
Fill the baking tray with the apple berry sauce.

Step 4
Sprinkle the crumble dough on top of the fruits.

Step 5
Position the rack in the lower third of the oven.
Bake it for 20minutes at 175 ℃.

Step6
As soon as the topping is crispy it's done.
Ideally serve it warm with a scoop of vegan ice cream or vegan vanilla yoghurt:)
(I don't have them sadly)
