Red Jasmine Rice

Ingredients for 6 side dish portions.
250g red Jasmin rice (rinsed)
500g water
Cooking wholegrain red jasmine rice is not as complicated as how it's imagined.
You don't need to soak the rice but if you do so it's more digestible and cooks
a bit faster.
Add all the ingredients in a pot.
Start boiling on a high heat.
Once you've got water boiling in a pot with your rice, cover with a lid.
Let it cook for 15minutes on a medium high heat.
Place a lid and let it simmer over a low heat for the next 30 minutes.
Whole grain rice should take about 40-45 minutes in total to cook.

When the rice corns seem open ,they are ready to be served :)
