Requested Soy Potato Patties 2025

Online WS menu from Feb 2025
Ingredients for 3 servings ( 6 patties )
20ml-30ml olive oil for frying
Sliced garlic from one clove of garlic(optional)
Black pepper to taste
(for the patties )
1/2 cup oatmeal (dried)
1/2 cup dried soy schnitzel (Alnatura)
1 tbsp vegan okonomiyaki sauce (or a pinch of sugar)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup of finely chopped vegetables (onion,carrot ,celery,garlic etc)
1 tsp sweet paprika powder
1 tsp vegetable broth (powder)
2g salt
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1/2 tsp oregano
A pinch of nutmeg
100g firm tofu
100g soy milk
1tbsp chia seeds (optional)
1tbsp brewer's yeast (optional)
★100g mashed potato
(=100g diced potato ,15minutes boiled in 500g water with 1/2tsp salt)
(for the sauce )
4tbsp sugar free tomato ketchup
2tbsp soy sauce (light)
1tbsp white wine
1tbsp raw cane sugar (depends on the ketchup's sugar level)
(for the salad)
Any fruits and vegetables of your choice
for example leafy greens ,cucumber, carrots, bell peppers, cabbage
Strawberries, cherries etc
Preparation
★First, peel and dice potatoes.
And boil them in 500g water with 1/2tsp salt for 15 minutes or until fork tender.
Strain water and mash potato with a fork.
(You could replace mashed potato with boiled grains too )


Step1
Weigh the amount of each ingredient.
Break tofu and mix everything in a bowl.

Step 2
Optionally add chia seeds.


Step 3
Roughly divide the patties into 6-7 equal portions.

Step 4
Optionally wrap them individually and rest in the fridge while making the sauce
and side dishes such as salad.
(Ideally store it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes, but you could also meal prep this patties in the fridge for the next day)
Once cooled, the shape of the patties will be more stable and easier to sauté.

Step 5
Add all the ingredients for the sauce in the sauce pan.
Bring it to a boil.

Prepare any salad of your choice.

Step 6
Drizzle 20-30ml olive oil in the frying pan, place patties.
Sauté patties until one side becomes golden for about 5 minutes over a medium high heat.

Step 7
Flip the patties over. Sauté the other side for about 4 minutes.
If you would like to add some garlic ,add garlic slices at this point.

Step8
Sprinkle some black pepper to taste.

Step9
The patties are done!
Serve it with the sauce and the salad of your choice.
