Tofu tomatoes



But this dish can be a main dish in any case:)




Ingredients for 3 servings

200g fresh tomatoes

100g tofu (this one is extra firm)

1/3 cup water

1/2 tsp black salt

0.5 tsp garlic

A pinch of turmeric

1tbsp oil

1tsp raw cane sugar (depends on the acidity of the tomatoes)

1/2 cup chopped green onion


Step 1

Fry tofu with small amount of oil .


Step 2

Add a pinch of turmeric and black salt.

(Don't add too much it gets yellower later)




Step 3

Add tomatoes, too.

Keep stir frying for a couple of mins.




Step4

Add soy sauce, a little sugar and some water.

When the fried tomatoes are colorful and juicy, transfer it to a plate.


Topped with spring onions.

Now it's ready to be served.
