I didn’t really explain what kind of rice I used for this workshop.
But this is the ones.

Today’s topic was plants food that are rich in antioxidants.
(I didn’t make this graphic image tho, just like to share it)
What do antioxidants do to our body ?
Oxidative stress can affect all kind of body systems and is a main cause of inflammation, cardiovascular disease,
infection, and even aging.
The process of oxidation happens as our bodis metabolize
oxygen we breathe, and our cells produce energy from it.
This process causes our mitochondoria to release
something called “free radicals” .
Free radicals are small, cell-damaging molecules.
What they need to stop damaging us ,is the donation of electrons.
Free radicals = positively charged oxygen.
They need to pair with negative charge to return balance to the body and these are called antioxidants.
