I had such a lovely (and coincidentally all-girls 💕) vegan cooking meetup today! ✨
Our theme was “The Flavor Playground” and it truly lived up to the name 🌍🥢🥗
Since this was an improv-style cooking event, things got a little messy and chaotic in the kitchen (as they often do!), but somehow it all balanced out beautifully. Thank you everyone for your patience and good energy.
We experimented with international flavors and ended up with an amazing spread: miso-glazed mushrooms, a hearty stew, a peanut butter stir-fry, a fresh salad, and some vibrant Indian dishes.
I love how plant-based cooking can be so playful, colorful, and full of happiness on a plate! 🥰🌱Big thanks to everyone who joined today’s event 💚
I don’t have the exact recipes from today’s cooking session, but the dishes we made were pretty close to these ones. If you’d like to recreate something similar at home, check out the blog recipes below for inspiration:
Miso-glazed mushrooms
(12pieces grilled mushrooms with1tbsp oil/2 cloves of garlic /1tbsp vegan butter/1tbsp miso paste/1tbsp white wine/a pinch of brown sugar/rosemary )

Brussels sprouts grilled in the oven at 190℃ for 25 minutes
(400g cleaned brussels sprouts/2 tbsp oil/1tbsp brewer's yeast/1tsp oregano/2tsp paprika powder /1tsp salt/some black pepper to taste)

Grilled pepper chili sauce (1/2 cup grilled red bell pepper /1/2 cup grilled tomatoes
3 cloves of grilled garlic/1tsp salt/1tbsp olive oil/mixed with cold 1/2 cup of high protein soy yogurt/1tsp brown sugar /black pepper to taste)
We made some salad with peppers and tomatoes (it tastes like this one)
At the event we made some broccoli, zucchini stir-fries but the
peanut coconut sauce was something like this.
I hope these recipes help you bring a little bit of our meetup’s flavor into your own kitchen! ✨
And a little tip: if you don’t want to miss any of the details behind these delicious dishes, try to join the event from the very beginning.
We often multitask and prepare a lot of sauces and base dishes in the first 30 minutes — so that’s when the real cooking starts happening! 🌱🍲

Wishing you all a lovely weekend, and I can’t wait to see you again soon!
Misaki
