I can't thank you enough for letting me organize this event on Christmas Eve 💚
I was so happy to spend this special occasion with you all.
At this event our lovely member and vegan chef Jing has shared her version of Bibimbap recipe with us. It was very very delicious.
Thank you sooo much !
To make bibimbap toppings We used some peanut oil for Sautéing veggies, mushrooms, and tofu. Then seasoned with salt, dark soy sauce, chili flakes ,sugar and roasted sesame oil.
Only these sprouts have been boiled and then marinated.
Toppings were served with gochujang sauce
(gochujang paste, dark soy sauce, some water)
Additionally I also offered milder sauce made with ( Tahini, light soy sauce, soy milk and sweet chili sauce) ,nori ,and black sesame seeds.

The side dish recipes from me.
The alcohol frei cocktail was made with 🍹
Ginger ale(as mush as you would like)
Lemon juice (from 1 slice of lemon)
Grenadine syrup (about 20ml)
( The vegan ice cream is bought)
Quick kimchi ( need to be pickled 2 days prior to the event )
Lastly I would like to share some of my party tipps (besides foods) from my
4 years of hosting meetup events💚
Be thoughtful ,not expensive.
(1)Plan the table setting ahead of time.
(2)Choose the theme color.(max 3 colors)
(3)Check the size of the dish ,polish glassware and cutlery in advance.
(4)Place every items in a right order at least once ,prior to the event day
to see the entire balance and to check the practicality.
Try to incorporate all the elements from the nature such as
wood(plants/plate),soil(ceramic/salt/stoneware/metal),frame (candles),air (aroma from foods/sounds/music),water (flower vase/tea/drinks) to bring a balance in the room.
It may sounds too silly but trust me it works to create a nice harmony.
So you (=the host ) can mostly focus on cooking tasty foods at the event.

So that was the event from yesterday:)
Happy holidays everyone!
Sending you love, light, and laughter for good memories and a bright and healthy 2025.
I'm planning a next cooking & creative meetup for the middle of January.
See you soonish.
Misaki
